I have two teen boys, who keep me very busy in all the best ways! My boys are goofy old souls with the biggest hearts and most beautiful smiles. We live by the ocean with my incredible husband in beautiful Nova Scotia, Canada.
The things I love cannot be contained in a single list. But to know me is to know that I love earl grey tea, dark chocolate, beach walks, reading, pickleball, home decor stores, and never ever giving up. (I’m a bit stubborn. lol)
The Yellow Birdhouse is my handmade business featuring designs made with high quality wool-blend felt. I turn my designs either into digital download patterns or blog posts (there’s lots of freebies!)
Everything, and I mean EVERY aspect of what I design is made by my real human hands. From pencil drawings, to hand-stitching prototypes, to digitizing patterns, photographing everything, and writing all the copy, it’s all done by me. I take a lot of pride in that.
My felt designs are mainly along the themes of quirky animals, elegant florals, and Nova Scotia inspired. But since I love crafting in all forms, you’ll find a little bit of everything around here!
