I love colour. I love finding ways to add bright pops of colour to my home. Felt balls are just the ticket! Plus you can easily swap out one garland or bouquet for another once you tire of the colours. Felt balls are an easy way to brighten up a space without the commitment of painting a wall. What’s not to love?!

Where to Purchase Felt Balls

There are hundreds of shops selling felt balls on Etsy. It all depends on what you’re looking for.

This shop has a great selection of ombre palettes.
This shop has felt balls with dots and swirls designs, including rainbow!
This shop has glitter balls!
This shop has lots of different shapes if you want to add something extra to your garlands.

Make sure to pay attention to size. A 1cm ball is about the size of a large pea. 1.5cm is a good size for a flower center. 2cm is good for a garland or mobile and is probably the most commonly used size. 3cm is pretty big, I’ve never used them for anything.

And if you’re looking for more felt crafts, I have a whole section of DIYs here!

DIY Felt Ball Crafts

1. Necklaces

This is a sweet 10 minute project that will quickly add a pop of colour to your outfit! This necklace would be beautiful with a couple of glitter balls in it.

8. Acorns

No list is complete without a delightful felt ball acorn diy. I love the variation used here, with a cluster of acorns on a branch instead of single acorns.  These would be great for a Thanksgiving tablescape!

9. Ice Cream Cone Keychains

Well these are the cutest darn things! You can use them as a place card, a gift topper, a party favour, an ornament, all kinds of ideas!

Bonus Idea: Flower Centres

Felt balls are also great to use as flower centres! Here I’ve used a 1.5cm for the larger flowers and a 1cm felt ball for the little flower.

I custom make these name hoops, send me a message if you’re interested in one. I don’t have them listed in the shop because you get to choose the fabric and flower colours and all that customization is too tricky to put in a listing. ๐Ÿ™‚
