Toddler Bedtime Bingo

August 7, 2019 by Laura Leave a Comment

Do your kids go to sleep easily every night? Never getting out of bed to complain about their blankets or the temperature? Yeah, mine either. I almost want to laugh when I wish them ‘goodnight’ because I know for a fact I’m going to see them at least 13 more times before morning. So let’s turn the struggle into a fun episode of toddler bedtime bingo instead!

Play a game of Toddler Bedtime Bingo with your spouse. All the reasons why my kid is out of bed. Have fun with tiresome bedtimes by playing bedtime bingo!

Picture this: The busy day is done, the chaos is tamed, the toys are picked up and the wine is ready to be poured. The kidlets are getting their last song and goodnight kisses. You wish them a good sleep and tuck the blankets under their chins. You’re just pulling out the good snacks and turning on a trashy show when you hear “Mom?” from the top of the stairs.

And so it begins.

Another evening of hiding the snacks and pausing the show a dozen times while your little darlings come up with excuses not to be in bed.

We were going through an evening just like this a few weeks ago when my husband suggested we turn it into a game of bedtime bingo. So I did!

Might as well turn your pain into a game right?!

Introducing…

Bedtime Bingo – Toddler Edition

My boys are currently 5 and 7, and this version of the game is perfect for right now. I would say it would suit any kids between 3 and 8 ish.

There are 2 versions of the bingo card, so you can play with your spouse! Have fun choosing the prize for the lucky winner. Maybe the loser is on kid duty for the rest of the night? The winner has to provide the evenings snacks?

Basically if your kid comes out of their room or does any of the things on the card, you cross it off. Both cards have exactly the same items, just ordered differently. You can download the bedtime bingo cards for free below.

I was trying to find sassy mom life stickers or stamps you could use to mark off the boxes. It was tough though! Maybe I should just design some myself? A project for another day perhaps.

For now I found a couple fun options:

This rubber stamp is my fave and wildly appropriate for this particular game! ๐Ÿ˜€

This stamp set is a nice variety of PG rated family life quips.
