Another holiday, another excuse to embroider something! (Do I really need an excuse though? lol) With winter winding down, why not stitch up one of these Easter embroidery patterns to help welcome in the Spring?

I never get tired of writing these embroidery themed blog posts. It’s hard to believe that it’s my job to scroll through pages of beautiful embroidery patterns picking out my favourites. Is this real life?! 16 year old, crafting-obsessed me would be so happy!
Anyway, long story short, I rounded up 26 totally adorable, Easter embroidery patterns. There are Easter bunnies and flowers and sheep, and some religious themed patterns too. A little something for everyone!
Most of these Easter embroidery patterns are beginner friendly, only 2 or 3 would be more suitable for experienced sewists, like the chicken in #11.
These embroideries could be used in a number of ways. To decorate an Easter basket or a dress, to make ornaments for an Easter tree, to decorate a shelf or mantle or simply to give as gifts. You could even embroider a set of linen napkins or a runner to decorate your Easter table. I love how versatile hand embroidery can be!

Ok, here are the patterns:
1. Wildflower Bunnies
Playful bunnies surrounded by wildflowers. They’re living a dream life.
2. These are my Peeps
Does anybody actually eat peeps?! Haha, good thing they are totally adorable in embroidery form!
3. Bunny Wreath
Is he sad, pensive or sleepy? Me too bunny, me too.
4. Bunny with Easter Egg
I like that this Easter bunny embroidery has a little bit of sass, don’t you think? It’s all in the eye…and maybe the smirk too.
5. Sheep in Wellies
A few of the patterns in this list are more Spring-themed than specifically Easter. But how could I not include an embroidery pattern of a sheep wearing rain boots?!
6. Chicken in a Flower Garden
7. Easter Ornaments
This is a whole set of patterns. You don’t have to make ornaments with them, you could put them in a hoop instead if you wanted.
8. Easter Gnomes
What is it about gnomes that is so irresistible? This is a cross stitch pattern.
9. Carrot Harvest
I love the farmhouse vibes of this DIY embroidery pattern.
10. He is Risen
11. Chicken
This chicken has some really interesting stitches in it!
12. Floral Cross
13. Posy Rabbit
How sweet would this be in a little girl’s room?
14. Bunny with Garden Basket
This one reminds me of Peter Rabbit. 🙂
15. Floral Easter Patterns
Another whole set of patterns. It’s the teeny tiny chicks that I love!
16. The Lord is my Shepherd
17. Floral Bunny
The most floral Easter bunny embroidery that I’ve ever seen!
18. Bluebird & Birdhouse
19. Bunnies & Carrots
Of all the Easter embroidery patterns in this list, I think this one might be my favourite! It’s perfect for Easter, but would be so sweet in a gallery of other farmhouse themed decor.
20. Sun & Shepherd & Sheep
21. Rabbit with Flower Wreath
I feel like this little guy is watching me…in a super cute way of course!
22. Count Your Blessings
I know it’s not strictly an Easter sentiment, but the messaging is still sound. Especially in light of recent world events, we should count every blessing and be so so grateful.
23. Garden Birds
Those little strawberries are so darn cute! You could add a ‘Happy Easter’ to this one to make it more on theme.
24. Chocolate Bunny
What is Easter without a chocolate bunny?
25. Sheep with Wreath
These sheep look like they’re on a mission!
26. Lilac Jar
These gorgeous lilacs stole my heart the moment I saw them so I had to include them even though they aren’t necessarily Easter-y.
Bonus 27: My Free Rabbit Embroidery Pattern
He’s wearing glasses and a flower crown and he’s lovely!
Bonus 28: Free Embroidered Felt Eggs and Chicks
I know these aren’t the same as a hoop embroidery, but they’re so darn cute I had to include them!
Happy stitching,
