In my efforts to continue pursuing zero waste in our home and in my crafting, I’ve been trying to find ways to use up all the little scraps of felt and fabric that I accumulate. My plan is to use up cotton fabric scraps making baby quilts and donate them to our local pregnancy centre. I was too ambitious with the design for the first one. But I will simplify and try again!
I keep all my felt scraps that are larger than a quarter and I wrote a post of 24 Cute Crafts to Make with Felt Scraps. I’ve also got some great sewing patterns available that would be great for using up your felt scraps!
It’s really satisfying to use up the lasts bits of pretty fabric scraps. (Mainly because it clears up space for new fabric! #fabricaddict). A lot of these fabric scrap projects can be completed in one sitting too. Which is extra satisfying. Means you might actually finish a project before starting the next one! ๐
