Trying to find unique gift ideas can be really hard. Especially on a budget. But I did extensive research and managed to find 20 amazing handmade gifts under $10 for kids.

I don’t know about you, but this dumpster fire of a year has also added a financial strain to the mix. Good times. Can 2020 be done now please?!
Anyway, it’s got me thinking (and stressing) about the upcoming holiday season and how we’re going to manage gift-giving.
I love giving gifts, it’s my love language. I want the people I love to know that I love them! But I have to do it on a budget.
Thankfully, Etsy is here to save the day. There are so many incredible handmade gifts out there and I managed to find 20 gifts under $10 that are perfect for kids.
I just think buying handmade really elevates the gift. And not just because I’m a maker. I’ve always loved buying handmade!
All but one of these gifts under $10 would be appropriate any time of year, not just for Christmas. But these are all awesome socking stuffer ideas that are also perfect for birthdays or other milestones and celebrations.
I tried to find as many gender neutral items as I could. There are a few hair clips and earrings but lots of ‘boy-ish’ ideas too. Plus most of these shops have multiple style and colour options when you click through to have a look, so you can definitely find something to suit your needs.
I think all of these gifts under $10 are suitable for kids aged 2-10 ish, give or take a little. 🙂
Since a large portion of my readership is based in the US, I decided to find items under $10 USD. So these gifts are under $13.50 CAD. Which is still an amazing price point for a handmade gift!

This shop has lots of different kits, dinosaurs, narwhals, princesses and more. I love giving kits and creative artsy DIY stuff. Probably because I love getting those kinds of gifts too! haha
2. Rose Hair Clips
These are my little felt rose hair clips. 🙂 You can custom pick the colours you’d like.
3. Marble Letter Crayons
These crayons are priced per letter. So the longer the name, the higher the cost. But you can’t beat personalization for amping up a Christmas gift!

These puzzles are priced per letter. So a long name may put you over the $10 mark. These are probably more suited to a toddler aged child.

This shop has so many fun slime options. Bright and colourful and full of fun little extras. I really like the poison apple slime but this fuchsia citrus slime is my fave.
